Donkey sanctuary in Saqqara
SPARE has a donkey sanctuary in Saqqara, the first in Egypt, which is adjacent to the home of President Amina Abaza.
The abused donkeys are bought from their cruel owners and they retire in our farm where they only eat and play. 8 donkeys are living there happy and safe after a long life of misery and abuse. Thanks to Raouf Mishriky who donated them a safe and big land to live in.
