This site will soon contain a blog where Cairo residents can post warnings about poisoning and shooting.
In August 2006, the poisoning continues. We have substantial evidence that poisoned meat is being put on the ground in Maadi, the district in southern Cairo inhabited by many expatriates. Not only is the poison cruel and unacceptable when used on the stray dogs, but many people walking their dogs are not aware of the dangers to their own pets as a result of this deadly meat on the ground. Two community centers in Maadi recently posted this warning flyer:
